First Boy Twins. Babies 9 & 10

The Lees are happy to announce the first MARRIAGE. Baby 3, Martha, found her soul mate in Isiah. They were married infront of friends family and God, on the beach at sunset.
Ari hugged her daughter close as she shed a few happy tears. She was so proud of her acomplishments as a chef and Isiah was a perfect gentlemen. The only thing that worried Ari was Isiah was a good deal older than Martha, but Martha had always been an old woman in a child's body. Ari wished them the very best. Saddly Mary, Martha's twin, could not attend as she was on the road with her band. Her career too, was really taking off.
That night, back at home, it was the youngest twins' birthday. Ari helped Leah blow out her candles as her sibs clapped and cheered.
And, Ari helped Julia too, make the transition.
Still the shy one, Leah ducked as I aimed the camera at her. She kept her long braids and petulence for all things pink. She also found a love of cooking, maybe another chef in the making.
Her twin, Julia thankfully out grew her love of face makeup but kept her curly pigtails. She loves girly clothes but not pink and purple like her sister. Greens and browns are more her style, and she wears them well. Both girls inherited their dad's hair and eyes, but Leah looks alot like a blue Ari. Her face shape and lips are almost identical to her Mom's.
The next day, Ari took the girls to the park. Leah and Julia tried their hand at fishing. (leah still ducked, can't get a picture of that girl)
While, the older twins Rebecca and Callie spent some quality time with their Dad. Ever the animated one, Rebecca stole most of Dad's attention while Callie was content to watch and listen.
Ari took the opportunity to work on her guitar skills. She was becoming quite good and attracted a small crowd when she preformed. Rebecca found that babysitting little Zeke wasn't so bad when she got to listen to Mom play.
Ever on the lookout for new daddies, Ari spotted her next target on the steps of the city hall. Leaving the girls to enjoy themselves, Ari hastened to introduce herself to Zachary Stant (thanks Galerievine!)
Ari got that being watched feeling again as she was chatting up Zach and looked around. Sure enough, Bryce and his housemates were conversing not ten feet away. Bryce seemed to be incredibly interested in his book, but Ari felt uncomfortable. She invited Zach back to her house to continue the evening.
With a little flirting, he finally accepted. Once inside, he openly admired the airy layout of the Lee house. All the chaos of the children made him smile as he thought of his own son.
Ari followed him inside and watched him smile as her children went about their favorite activities. She turned to him and asked "Would you like to be the father of baby 9 for me?" Zach looked stuned. He quickly said "I'm Married! I have a child too. That would be cheating!"

Ari followed him outside as he stormed away. She caught him as he was about to leave and stopped him with her hand.
"I think you misunderstood me. I'm so used to everyone already knowing about me that I forget everyone doesn't understand." Ari explained as Zach looked at her questioningly. "I am doing a 100 baby challenge," she said,"I am going to have 100 children, all with different fathers. There is no commitment, so it isn't cheating. You would be helping me." Zach pondered this for a second, then said "I still need to go." Ari nodded and said "Just let me know what you decide. Talk it over with your wife if you want. I understand your hesitation and I respect it. She must be a wonderful woman." Zach smiled and said " oh, she is..." Then he left. Ari felt rather stunned. She hadn't had the forethought to plan for if someone married wanted to participate. She hadn't even asked if he was married or not. She went to bed that night with her head full of questions.
Rebecca found she was rather good at gardening and helped out with it most days. Julia, too, loved the outdoors and often could be found on her favorite swing next to the garden.
Leah often joined her twin on the swings. The two girls were extremely close and did everything together.
This morning it was Zeke's birthday. Ari hoped he had inherited his model father's bronze hair and pale skin.
Ari waited for everyone to gather around for little Zeke's celebration.
Zeke grew into an adorable bronze haired toddler. All the girls loved to play with him and spoiled him horribly.
Ever the outdoorsy one, Julia loved to play in the sprinkler while her Mom tended to the garden.Even Callie pitched in, and helped teach Zeke to use the potty. Even after he learned to walk, Zeke never used the skill because he was always in someone's arms. Ari hoped the extra attention wouldn't go to his head when he got older.
At a young age, Zeke developed an obsession with the tv. He would sit for hours and watch whatever was on the screen.
Days had passed since Zach had left, and Ari wondered if she should start looking for someone else to father baby 9; when one night, Zach called and asked to come over. When Ari greeted him, he pulled her close and kissed her. Ari assumed this meant he would participate in her challenge.
She imdiately asked him to come to her bedroom. He backed away and said, "Not yet. I have something I need to get off my chest. My wife doesn't know I am here and she isn't to ever know, alright? I realized after I left you that I did want more children that just my son but I thought that my wife and I would have some more later on. I asked her about her plans for having more kids and she told me there would be no more. That is why I am here. I want more children to love and she doesn't."
Ari nodded. " I will keep your secret. I understand the want for more children. I'm sorry your wife doesn't want anymore."
Ari led him inside and pulled him in for another kiss.
Zach pushed Ari to do this quickly and they move to the master bedroom. A lullaby drifted through the air as Ari fell asleep. However, Zach redressed and turned to leave. Ari shifted and mumbled in her sleep causing him to turn back towards her. She really was incredibly lovely, he thought. He leaned over and tucked the covers around her. She sighed in her sleep and smiled. It made his heart squeeze to see her so relaxed and unguarded. He softly kissed her cheek and left silently for his own house and family.
Upstairs, Leah was awakened by Zach leaving. She turned on her lamp and paced her room, pondering why her mother had so many children and wasn't married. Not one of the children shared the same father, like her friends' sibs did. Leah couldn't understand why. Didn't her mother love her father? or did she? All these questions bounced around her young mind but she could fathom no answers.
When her sister stired sleepily and muttered something about trees, Leah turned out the light and fell back asleep.
The next day, after the girls went to school, Ari took Zeke back to the park with her to earn some more money for the family.
She hadn't been playing for long when she had to rush to the restroom to throw up. Ari knew that she was pregnant with Zach's child. Since she knew that she wouldn't get anymore playing done, she took Zeke and headed back home.
When Ari was feeding Zeke, she felt the first movements of her child. She smiled sweetly and told Zeke "You are going to have a little brother or sister soon" Zeke aparently didn't like that idea as he started wailing. Ari shook her head at him and gave him his food.
The girls returned from school and settled down at the dinner table to do homework together.
When they had finished, they went to play and Julia settled next to Ari on the computers. After a moment of silence, Julia asked. "Mom? How come you aren't married?"
Ari thought for a moment and replied "Well, I can't be"
"How come?" Julia persisted. "I can't because the challenge rules say I can't be." Ari replied patiently. "So it's 'cause of the challenge? Huh." Julia mused but didn't have the nerve to ask anymore questions. Some of the older girls had told her that when they had started asking Ari about the challenge, she answered them but didn't tell them much. She started looking so sad whenever they brought it up, that they stopped asking. Julia thought she looked sad now too. She changed the subject to school today instead.
As the school week ended and the weekend began, Ari woke the kids to the smell of fresh pancakes. Most of the time one of the older kids cooked during the week due to the fact that Ari was so busy. Ari also encouraged the older children to practice cooking to prepare for young adult life. So fresh pancakes were a welcome treat.
Even little Zeke was up early enough to have some. "Pampakes..Pampakes!" He proclaimed and ran to Ari so she could put him in his chair.
All the children sat and devoured the warm apple pancakes as Ari cleaned the kitchen.
Rebecca finished first and ran outside to work in the garden. She really loved the garden and Ari wondered if she would become a scientist when she got older.
Ari was in the middle of putting away leftover cake from Zeke's party when the contractions hit her. They were coming quickly and as experianced as Ari was, she knew this would be a home birth.

Sure enough, Ari delivered her first set of twin boys in the living room of their house. Welcome Keefe and Kael Lee, babies 9 & 10.
