It is time for Martha and Mary's birthdays.
With brother Sean in the back ground to cheer them on, one by one Ari helps them into their next stage of life.
This is little Martha. She is the girly one of the twins.
And this is Mary, the tom boy. She loves lime green and her short hair. She could be easily mistaken for a little boy.
I love how different the twins are and yet how similar their expressions are. Identical frowns after Ari broke the sink, AGAIN! (I really despise that sink.)
After repairing the spewing sink and cleaning up the kitchen, it was time for Rebecca and Callie's birthdays. This is Callie.
And this is Rebecca. It seems that I neglected to take pictures of the young twins so I'm sorry but I do have some since they were so absolutely adorable.
Deciding that their current house was too small for her quickly growing family, Ari called Bryce over to tell him she was moving. Ari greeted him with a warm hug. Even now just his touch could send her heart fluttering.
She told him the news quickly and said good-bye, lest even her iron will give in to him. He seemed genuinely happy for her and the children. Ari promised that she would invite him over when she and the kids had settled into their new home.
After seeing Bryce to his car, Ari gathered her children together and prepared for the tedious task of searching for a house to fit her family and yet let them be comfortable. (Oh, there are Callie and Becca. Callie has red hair like her Mom and Bec has tawny-blond hair like her Dad)
Ari and the kids looked at many houses but none seemed to fit their needs exactly.
Most that had the right number of bedrooms where way too expensive and formal. Ari knew that her kids needed room to play and learn. Victorian styling and formal rooms would not work.
As dark fell, Ari began to worry that she would have to settle with an okay house, instead of the perfect house. All the kids were terribly tired, when they walked up the front sidewalk of the final house. For a moment, all Ari could do was stare at its cheery windows and large yard. With hope in her heart, she ushered her weary children inside.
She looked around the bottom floor and found that it was indeed perfect. An open floor plan made the kitchen, dining room and den into one large room. The master bedroom too was on the ground floor, with large windows and bright colors.
Ari didn't need to see any more of the house, she had fallen in love with it once she looked out the back windows into the spacious backyard. It had everything her children could ever want or need. The girls chose their room first and picked the hot pink one next to the nursery
.Sean chose his next and chose the dark green one next to the stairs. They all crashed immediately.
Ari put the twins in the nursery and they too conked out instantly. Ari herself went to bed and slept soundly.
The next morning, Ari got up early to cook a celebration breakfast for the kids.
They all enjoyed the very nice grape pancakes as Ari woke the little ones and fed them their breakfast
After breakfast, the kids went outside to explore their new home. Sean found the work-out area and got to work pumping iron.
Bold little Mary immediately ran to try out the fort. She didn't even bother to change into her day clothes.
Martha however was much more hesitant. She stood for many long moments on the porch and watched her twin before eventually joining in.
"Sean!" Ari called to her son.
"Yes ma'am." answered as he jogged inside.
"I'm going to town and I need you to watch your siblings. Will you do that for Momma?"
"Of course" he replied and took Callie from her.
Ari left to find the father for her next child and Sean sat down to help Mary with her school work. She wasn't fond of the complex multiplication homework they had been given over the weekend, but with Sean's help, she was quickly done.
Sean next started teaching Callie to walk. All the girls adored Sean.
Ari had scarcely arrived at the grocery when she spotted her quarry. Hello Fred Stone (thanks so much Nancy0195!!)
Ari introduced herself to Fred and started chatting him up. Suddenly she had a nagging sensation that she was being watched.
Ari turned to see Bryce standing there, not five feet away. She could never continue with Bryce here. She may not be able to tell him the reason for her challenge but she also wouldn't hurt him. Instead Ari went home to her children.
The next morning, after forcing the kids away from the TV, and making sure they all got on the school bus; Ari called and invited Fred over.
He arrived promptly and Ari explained the challenge to him. He seemed embarrassed to be talking about this in such a public area.
When Ari asked if he would father her next child, he kindly said no. He felt that children should be made in love only. Ari wouldn't take no for an answer though.
She acted the part of the lovely hostess and invited him inside. Fred never knew what hit him when Ari wrapped her arms around him and kissed him. He had never met a woman like Ari. With some persuading, Fred agreed to be part of the challenge.
Ari didn't waste time as her kids would be home soon.
He was good. A lullaby played first time. She told Fred good-bye.
Ari checked the time and saw her kids would be home any moment. She went out to the garden and tended to the apple tree.
Before long, she heard the patter of feet as her wonderful children came in from school. Sean joined her outside, but took more of a liking to playing with the sprinkler than the actual gardening.
After finishing the gardening, Ari gathered the children together for Mary and Martha's birthday.
Ever the bold one, Mary makes a wish and blows out her candles before everyone is even there. Martha waits patiently and then blows hers out for the camera.
This is Mary. From the tom boyish impulsive kid, she grew into a beauty. However, right after this picture she ditched the pink. She was not a pink kind of person. Lime green still was her thing.
Right in the middle of the twin's celebration, Ari confirmed that she was indeed pregnant.
This gave Martha enough time to slip inside and fix her hair and clothes. Always the prim and perfect one, here is Martha looking guilty at being caught. She is a traditional stunning beauty. I have to say she took most after her mom and is absolutely lovely.
Back outside, it is Callie and Rebecca's birthday. Here Sean helps Rebecca.
And here Ari helps Callie.
So before I could snap pictures of them, they ran to their beds. Yeah, they are hard to get photos of. So you might not see many of them. This is Callie, her facial stucture is interesting.
Here is a better picture of Callie. She is slightly easier to photograph since she often talks to herself. Yep, first insane kid of the challenge. I adore Callie anyway.
With the youngest twins children, days pass quickly for the family. Too soon it is Sean's birthday. *sniff*
Ari couldn't help but tear up as her little baby grew into a young adult. He became the stunning gentleman that she knew he would be. He stuck around for a while to eat one last dinner with the family and then left to seek his own life out. (I cried when he left, am I a wuss or what? lol)Sean Lee
Traits: Clumsy, Athletic, Brave, Good Sense of Humor, Loves the Outdoors
LTW: Astronaught (Military)
No sooner did Sean leave than Ari felt the familar contractions of labor. While Callie freaked out, Mary calmly sat and read her book. After all, Mom was a pro by now.
Welcome to the world Twin girls (again). Julia and Leah. (later I looked back at Leah and realized her name was Leah Lee *facepalm*)

Great Chapter :D I hope one of the twins will get the dad's hair :D
